Addi-Mommy Date

August 16- We were lucky enough to get a little mommy/daughter time away tonight.  Landon got to go and hang out with his best pal Bryce while Addison and I went to the Lauren Daigle concert.  It was several artists but the one that I was most excited about was Lauren Daigle...Addison really has loved her music.  Salt and Light was the song that Addison sang with Jeana.  It ended up being a late night but we had a lot of fun.  We went to dinner before the concert....it was lots of fun!

The Busiahn's Visit San Diego!!!

We had a fantastic time when Steph and the boys and Mom visited San Diego.  We went to the beach, went and saw the seals in La Joya, swam at the pool, played at the park...it was just a great time!  We even got some photos taken!  woohoo!!!!

Aqua Camp

August 7-11- Addison and Landon attended Aqua camp this week at the Crown Cove Aquatic Center.  It was a great camp!  They got to try all kinds of water sports!  Stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, sailing, boogie boarding, kayaking...it was great!  The last day I got to come and they took me sailing.  I got totally wacked in the face with the sail....oh well.  It was fun that Addi and Landon could have a shared experience.  By the end of the week each of them had friends.  It was great to see.  Landon's favorite friend was Jack, a kiddo much older but they had a great time playing!

We left Aqua camp and headed to the airport to pick up our guests!  The Busiahn's and my mom are coming!!!

July 28-August 3- We started the Birthday celebration a little early since Daddy was going to be out on the ship.  Landon was SUPER excited about his new jersey and a sleeve.  He wore it two days and then I told him I NEEDED to wash it.  

 On the day we had a fun morning with doughnuts...then a fun lunch at Corvette Diner.  It was the first time that we had ever gone there...it was so much fun.  The kiddos had a blast.  I was the mom of the year for a minute!  We found out that Landon is really crazy good at Skeeball!   Who knew?  He really is my Dad!  On our way home he called Papa with a challenge!!!  Then in the afternoon Landon had a birthday party at the pool.  It was not like any party I had ever done....ordered pizza, bought snacks...it was so easy!  

 SkeeBall champ...I think the machine was broken though cause it just kept giving us balls!  Woohoo!!! 

VBS Week....

End of July 2017

We had a great time at VBS.  I was Captain Shield for the week. I had a little too much fun finding different fun super hero themed outfits!  Who knew I would wear red glittery short-shorts to church?   It was great fun learning more about my new job at St. Paul's and helping to make VBS a success.  A bit worried that next year it is all mine.  YIKES!

Lego Land and Fun Family Time!!!

The end of June 2017 brought some fun family time.  Bill had a little leave and we were able to just relax.  So, we went to Lego Land, had fun at the beach, tried Paddle boarding...turns out that is a lot harder than in looks!  Overall, it was just a fun time being together as a family!  

 Neon shirts are the way to go in a crowd...however I think my trick is catching on...it is becoming harder to find my kiddos!!!

 Lego Land was great for the kids...Landon was quite the dare devil on the roller coasters.  They weren't too bad though!  I love his sense of adventure.

 Landon joined NADO soccer as a developmental player.  So, he practices with NADO but plays the rec league games.  It has been working out.  

 San Festival in Imperial Beach....it was fun!  We always enjoy a reason to go to the beach!

My Addison-Cat

June 24th

It was a sad day that we had to say "see ya later" to Jeana.  She has been the Praise Band leader at St. Paul's since we had been there.  She is an amazing person and she has the voice of an angel.  Her and Addison really connected when Addi sang a Lauren Daigle song last week.  It was so great! She is moving back to Omaha to be closer to family.  

 Addison is a true Coronado girl...complete with a new beach cruiser!  I have one adorable little girl!!!
