Let the Wild Rumpus Begin.....

The Wild Thing is right here at the Nesbitt House......

This is what I found yesterday as I turned to put something away!

I LOVE MY HAIR

I don't know if you have seen the "I Love My Hair" video or not...but today Addison and I had some time so we decided to try some braids. She was pretty still which helps. Then we watched the video which probably amuses me more than Addi. Guess what has been stuck in my head all day??

Here it is in case you want it in your head too (it is pretty cute) I guess the creator wrote it for his daughter who was adopted and didn't like her hair so much!

Time is Ticking.....

Landon's birthday is quickly approaching and I realized monday that we hadn't taken his 11 month pictures...so we did! It was a quick shoot in the kitchen! I bought these bibs with the intentions of pictures...good thing I did it now...they weren't too big even though they were 18 months! I was pretty happy with the pictures. Especially when I went to Costco to get them printed and the clerk asked me if they were professional. I thanked her for the compliment but came clean that they were taken at home!

Schueler Visit

We had a great weekend hanging out with the Schueler family!! They got here friday night and stayed until Sunday. It was jam packed with the zoo and oodles and oodles of pool time! The zoo was hot but fun. After the zoo we hit up Zestos for ice cream. As we were waiting for Bill and Mitch to arrive we told the man behind us to go ahead cause we weren't ready. He noticed us from having been at the zoo himself. He bought his two ice cream cones and had laid a twenty dollar bill down on the counter. He looked at us and said "its on me" and walked away. We were surprised and of course thankful! What a sweet thing for someone to do! I really want to do that for someone.
We had a great weekend! It is so fun to spend time friends that have known you forever!! Thanks for a great weekend guys!!

Landon's first visit to the pool. He is always napping when we go in! He liked it. Not as much as I thought he was going to though. It could be that he was tired because it was nap time!

Swimming Lessons

July 14 We had our second swimming lesson today with James. James is one of the instructors that was at Mockingbird community center. Casey called him to find out of he could do semi-private lessons in our pool. He said yes. He is a really nice kid. Addi was going to be brave and jump off the diving board and then thought again...she did go off but sitting down.

Nana & Papa's Visit

It had been awhile since we had seen Nana and Papa so they decided to come down for a visit. They came July 5th and stayed the week. We had lots of fun and did lots of projects too. Dad replaced the back door and mom and I worked on making an outfit for Landon's first birthday photo shoot. Addison's highlights would have probably included the pool and the ride on the ferris wheel twice..once with Daddy and once with Papa! It was a great visit! Thanks guys for all your help!

Addi chillin in the pool! She had so much fun!
Nana working on the little tie for LJ's first birthday shoot!
Grandma and Grandpa of course come bearing gifts..this time it was a train set. I have to say it was the best $2 ever spent. I guess a girl from my mom's work was selling toys. Both Landon and Addison LOVED it. Landon would see the train start to move and was like Godzilla trampling over everything to grab the train. It was so funny. I do need to get used to boy stuff. I wasn't very good at building that train!
I think a CowBOY hat is in order. I am not sure he is diggin the pink one! He surely likes the horse though!

WAAAY Behind!

It isn't like I am not taking pictures or we aren't doing anything...in fact it seems to be the opposite. I don't know where summer is going? This will be my best attempt at catching up on my lack of blogging lately!

Just Because....Even though it has been HOT HOT HOT Addison still thinks that she should wear pants. I told her to get dressed one day (I am sure it was already at least 80 degrees out) and this is what I got!

Landon could eat his weight in Blueberries...he loves them!

Landon after his bath one night...he looks so cute in his towel...thanks Ragonese family!!

Happy 4th of July! Yeah my favorite holiday!! We were invited to some friends house for a BBQ. It was tons of fun! It was great to hang out with great friends! Thanks Renee and Dana!

Landon's FIRST 4th of July! He was sportin some cute Red White and Blue!
What a messy girl! The homemade ice cream was surely a hit with Addison and me too! I had never had it before....yummy!
Landon walking with Daddy just wanting to be part of the action!
Addison throwing snaps! She had fun making noise but wasn't too sure of the other fireworks when they came out.
Addi and Brady giving a thumbs up to a great 4th of July party!

Landon had a great time chasing this ball around. It is so funny to watch him. If it is a ball or has wheels Landon love it!

A Matter of a minute...so this series of pictures all happened within a minute. I am not even sure what the issue was but Addi and Sophie had a tiff...they are like sisters!!

Seriously...under a minute! I just thought that was so funny! And something that they will both laugh about later! They are such pals!
