Chincoteague Island

May 13-15, 2016
There was one last place on our DC to do list.  It was Chincoteague! Addison has been a horse lover since we have arrived in VA.  Well, even before that!  So, we couldn't leave the area without seeing the wild ponies!  We arrived at the State park and took a little hike.  We didn't see any ponies.  I was getting a little worried.  But, on our way to the beach we saw some.  They were a good distance out but we saw them.

We went to the beach, flew our kites and then a crazy rain storm came in.  After it passed we hiked another trail and saw some deer and other wildlife.  It was pretty neat.  Then we found a trail that got us a bit closer to the horses.  It was really pretty neat.  The next day we went to pet some horses and went to the little museum that housed Misty of Chincoteague.  The horse was actually stuffed.  We all had a good time.  It was nice to get away and not think about moving!

May 2016

May 2016 brought with it a squeeze feeling.  All this moving stuff was happening for real!  The pressure was on as well as the sad feelings....it will be the last time to do.....

The beginning of May my cousin Jessie and her beautiful family came to visit.  We truly wondered why took us so long!  We were only a few hours apart.  We went to the Natural History museum and then back to their hotel for pizza and swimming.  Landon and Maddox had a great time!

Mother's Day

There was a Mother's Day tea at school and Landon sang and did a great job.  He presented me with all kinds of sweet gifts.

 Mother's Day was good.  We worked on a project which was super fun. We tried to make it "normal" despite all the crazy moving stuff. 

 I am blessed with beautiful kiddos! I truly am a very lucky mommy!

SOCCER!

Landon and Kyle were on the same team again.  They are quite the little superstars!  They have great team work and it almost isn't fair if they are out there together.  Coach Brian has done a great job and Landon has really enjoyed Soccer!!

 Kyle and Landon have gotten to be great friends! Especially good pals at soccer!  

Grandma & Grandpa Harris Visit

April, 2016- We were lucky enough to get to have a quick visit from Bill's parents.  It was great to get to see them and spend some time together.  We got to take then fishing...Landon and Addi have really been enjoying Burke Lake!  We all had a great time!
