More New Adventures!!!

Saturday we had a fun morning visiting the Children's Museum in Omaha. Addison LOVED it! She started with her normal observation period and just watched what was going on for a long time. Then she realized that there were a lot of fun things to do and started playing. She especially had fun on the fire truck(Pa-pa's truck) and at the water table. It was such a cool place and I feel very lucky to have it so close. We certainly love our new place!

YEAH for Spring!!

Addison and I had an enjoyable morning playing outside. She loves being outside. It was so nice we were even able to have a picnic on the back deck. Summer is going to be SO wonderful! We hope that spring is finding you too!

Just to Make you Laugh!!

So I suppose it is never to early to introduce the idea of a potty chair...so we recently bought one for Addison. We haven't done much with it but it sits in the bathroom...I came up the steps and this is what I found.....

Where is Spring?

I have to wonder on a day like this where spring is?? We had great temps last week and now today it is cold, windy and snowing (just a little). A good day to stay inside...that is if your dog doesn't run away!!!! One of the gates was open...not sure how!! But of course it was Sidney's invitation to run! Luckily our great neighbor put him back in the yard as I was getting ready to go and look for him!! Anybody want a Beagle?????

Addison LOVES brushing her teeth. It is a fight trying to get the toothbrush away from her...it usually ends up in tears if you can't trick it away from her. Something else that Addison loves is her little Webkins, Sidney and Maggie. She just takes them everywhere with her, in her car, she feeds them plastic grapes and bananas, gives them coffee...it is so funny. Today as we put up some Easter decorations she discovered plastic eggs or "balls". Needless to say they are everywhere! Oh well!!

Little Betty Crocker!!

Addison had a great time making chocolate pudding today! She was able to wear her adorable apron from her friend Keegan (Thanks Keegan, wish you were here to eat pudding with me!!) Addison was so excited to mix in the milk. She had a great time stirring! Then she got a little taste of it and didn't know what to think but kept stirring. When it came time to put it in the fridge she cried..I guess she wasn't done!

When it came time to enjoy the results she wasn't too interested...until she got a little taste. Then she thought it was the greatest thing ever! She spooned out what she could and then stated in with her fingers. She brings so much joy to our house! We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did!!

House Updates...

I have spent years and years being excited for our "Someday House"...and now I have no idea how to decorate it! We are still working on it. The latest developement is the craft room...it is beautiful! It has slat board, a counter top...it is amazing! I can't wait to get working on something. That is once the rest of the house has pictures hanging.

Addison likes to "help" too so that makes everything take a bit longer. But she is cute. Bill and I were trying to figure out where some pictures should go....here we look over and she has found the smallest picture and is hold it up like she is trying to decide where to put it. She is a funny little girl who keeps us on our toes.

Hello!!

Once again it has been awhile. We are doing very well and loving our new home and city. We are still trying to find our "groove". Addison and I are looking for fun things to do and are anxious for warmer weather so we can get out a bit more. This week it is supposed to get up to around 60 degrees...if it would just stay!!

Addison continues to amaze us by the things she does and says. Lucky for us she has learned the word "no". We are working on alternatives but it is certainly a favorite! Addison LOVES beads! She is such a girly girl. Everything is chapstick and if there is lotion she is going to have to put some on! We are in trouble!
