Fun with the Skindelien's

We had lots of fun with our visitors! We got to do a little swimming, we went to the zoo, made pizza on the grill and just had a lot of fun! Thanks Guys for a great visit!!!

What a cutie! Nana made this dress for Addi and she certainly had fun showing it off! She is so funny! She has such funny facial expressions....they are all her Daddy!

NEVER trust a quiet 1 year old!!!!

So this past week (wed-sat) we were lucky enough to have Jody, Janel, Jonathan and Jessica visit us! And last week as I was doing some preparation I noticed that it got really quiet. Being a little suspicious I went to check up on Addison. This is what I found.....




Addison had found a bottle of lip gloss and was "painting" her toes and the rest of herself with lip gloss! I couldn't even get mad...I just had to go get the camera and laugh! Still no doubt that she is a GIRLY GIRL!!!! Keegan...we can't wait to see you so we can have a spa day!!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!!

Yea! It is my favorite holiday!!! It has been kinda yucky here. The rain has been coming and going and it is overcast. So no pool time....but we still have had a wonderful 4th of July! We had our neighbors, Vernon, Casie, Sophie and Vollen over. It was perfect! The girls had a fun time playing too! I was very excited to host a 4th of July celebration. Bill called me the Independence Elf yesterday! Our house is all festive and get this....in front of every house in our entire subdivision there is a little flag near the curb. I guess this tradition has been going on for 20 years in this neighborhood. How cool is that. I loved our neighborhood before...but now I really love it!

My hope is that everyone has a wonderfuly enjoyable and safe 4th of July holiday. Make sure to stop and remember all of our troops serving overseas and the important job that they are doing.

Zoo Fun with Sophie!!

Yesterday we got to go to the zoo with our neighbors! Addi and Sophie had so much fun! I can't tell you how lucky we are to have such great neighbors!! We are hoping for a lot more summer fun! Thanks for the great time guys! And the yummy picnic lunch!

Addison had a good time looking at the goats. She didn't want to touch them (which I was fine with eww!) She would bend down and say "hi goats". She is talking so much. It is so funny! The other picture is of Addi and Sophia by the ducks! They are such cute little friends!

Wooooooo

Willmar Fest wouldn't be complete without Pancakes! Although Addison wasn't too interested in pancakes she sure was interested in the trucks! This was the first year that Papa didn't have to work at it in 20 years!!! Papa had lots of fun showing Addison all the Fire Trucks! She even got to wear the headset! THANKS PAPA!!!

Great time in "Sota"

Addison and I headed up to "Sota" this last week to spend some time with family and take in good old Willmar Fest. Daddy had a crazy schedule so it was nice for him too. He had some time to relax when he came home.

One of Addison's many surprises of the weekend was a new Wagon from Nana and Papa. She loved it. It is an early birthday present so she can use it this summer. She loved getting in and out and flipping the seats up and down. We were able to take it to the kiddie parade and to an auction. Fun stuff!!
