Last Day of Kindergarten

June 25th-
Today was the official last day of Kindergarten.  It seemed like it was never going to end.  I can't believe how late the kids get out of school here!  This year it was because of a million snow days but they were only scheduled to get out on the 21st.  Once Addison got off the bus we were scheduled to take a little trip.  We went out west to Massunutten it is a resort and water park out near Harrisonburg.  Mostly we like it because it means WIDE OPEN SPACES!  I bid on a package that the PTA was selling on their fundraising auction.  We thought it would be a nice get away!

How did the last day of Kindergarten happen so fast?
Landon wanted to be part of the picture too!!!
Running to the bus stop.  Landon tries to keep up but the Gisselle just moves too fast!

On our way to Harrisonburg....at a "site see" that is what Addison call's a scenic overlook!
Bill and I bought this shirt for Addison (in Alexandria, VA) a million years ago with the thought that someday she would wear it!  It has a peanut on it....and that is what Bill has always called Addi!  She is still a peanut and always will be now she can just wear the shirt!

Addison gets excited about taking pictures!  She didn't do too bad!

 The sky really was pretty!

We did learn a few lessons...we had been to the water park before and loved it.  But we had never stayed at the resort....the hotel rooms were awful!  There were bugs, the oldest furnishings you can imagine, a horrible bed...it was just not good.  So, if we go again we will surely stay in Harrisonburg and just visit the resort.

Things wouldn't be complete without a horse ride.  Addi wasn't old enough for the trail ride which is what she really wanted to do....but the pony ride would do!  I think they had a good time!

When we were coming down the mountains Landon announced that he was going to be sick!  Yup he got car sick!  We thought all was fine and it was just the winding road but he got sick again 3 blocks from our house!  What? Hopefully it was a fluke because it is a long drive between Nebraska and Minnesota!!!
