Sunday October 27th- I am SO proud of Bill for finishing his FIRST Marathon with an AMAZING time! 4:25 Bill had been training for this day for over a year! I am so glad that it went well! Bill came up with a training plan himself and executed it perfectly. He did almost all of his runs and especially the long runs by himself....he is impressive!!
So, for the first time I was a spectator....I wasn't sure what to do...and I certainly learned a few things along the way! So the song 'What does a fox say' made Bill laugh....so we needed a fox!!

Addison picked what she wanted her sign to say!
Face paint....for sure! I need to practice up though...it was pretty weak!
Thinking that the kiddos might get board we set up a high five station! That was fun!
One would think that red was a good, noticeable color....yeah not so much! Can you find Bill? He ran in style the entire time! Didn't look the least bit tired!
We are SO PROUD of our FINISHER!!
Bill looking great!!! Not even tired after running 26.2!!! Way to go Baby!
Addison wore her medal too so she could do cheers with her and Daddy's medals!!
Despite not running 26.2 I think we were all a bit worn out....especially this little guy!
So the day was great for the most part! We experienced some craziness with check points and such after increased security after the bombing in Boston last spring. We waited in a 2 hour plus line for Bill to get his bib. That is insane! So, we didn't think it was the greatest organized race...but there were 45,000 runners. So, the lesson learned is pick a smaller marathon! Bill said that the opening ceremony and such was pretty neat!
