It has been raining all day here. Addison certainly has the right idea! She wanted to sit in her window seat and the next time I looked over she was reading a book. And then or course dress-up. That lasted 45 entire seconds! Things for us have been good. With the cooler weather we have discovered a new running trail and have spent more time outside so that is nice.
Bill was on leave for a couple of days after we returned from being Up North so we got to spend some time all together. We went to the zoo, went for a nice long walk on one of the trails and even took in some of the air show. The Blue Angels are really cool. Addi wasn't so thrilled at how loud they were but it was still cool.
A funny zoo story....so we are driving to the zoo and we were asking Addison what animals she wanted to see, "Ummmm...a mouse and a deer." It was just funny... we probably didn't need to go to the zoo to see those! On the way home we had an old CD on and it had Fast Car by Tracy Chapman and the part where she says 'be someone, be someone..' two seconds later we hear a little voice singing along from the backseat. Addison makes us laugh everyday! She has not been feeling the best though a cold in conjunction with some teeth I think.
We wish everyone a happy long weekend! We are getting visitors! Bill's brother Jon is coming to town with his girlfriend. It should be fun. Hopefully the weather cooperates!

yup that is Addi's room. It is cute...and will be even cuter with her big girl bed. The bed set that we have is super cute.
I will have to post more pictures of the house. I still have some projects I want to do but it is certainly feeling like ours.
