Our Favorite Team!!

The College World Series is held here in Omaha and Nonna Nancy's favorite team is playing...the LSU Tiggers! She was so sweet as to send some of her school spirit to us in Omaha! It just happens that they are in the finals against Texas. So we are going to wear our new LSU hats with much pride this week! GO Tigers!!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's! We hope you all had a great day. I think Bill did. We had a nice relaxing day by the pool. It was super hot here so it made for a fun afternoon. Addi is getting used to the water again. She had swimming lessons last year but we haven't done much else in the water since then. She does enjoy it though.

Addi's Great Adventure to Minnesota!

While Bill and I were enjoying D.C. old-style (pre-Addi) Addison went to stay with her On-ie and Uncle T and Nana and Papa. I don't think she even knew we were gone. She had all kinds of adventures. She went to her first parade and didn't like the firetrucks or the off key singing of the buggy driver. The girl knows music!! She got all kinds of love from family and all Nana's friends at work. Thank you guys for taking care of our little Addi while we had a much needed recharge!

A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!

So, it has again been too long since I have updated our blog. But this time I have an excuse. Bill and I spent the weekend and begining of the week in D.C. He had to go for work so I went along. Addison went to spend some time in MN. First with On-ie and Uncle T and then with Nana and Papa. It was really strange not having her there but it was nice too. It really gave Bill and I some time to recharge and remember how relaxing our world used to be. We are dying to see Addi but I think in the end it is just better for everyone! We all appreciate eachother a bit more. Bill is SO sweet..he sent me to a spa one day. It was so fun to be pampered. I got a pedicure,manicure, haircut and my eyebrows waxed for the very first time ever (see not a girly-girl!!) It was great! Thanks Baby! And then the strangest thing happened...the Navy got efficient and figured out the whole conference in a day so Bill and I got to go back to Annapolis for the day! It is such a cute little town. And it is fun to hear stories of Bill when he was a midshipmen. I truly love that place and just seeing Bill when he is there melts my heart! He has a lot of great memories. Thanks Mom, Dad, Steph and Trent for taking care of Addi! It meant the world to us to know that she was fine and loving every second. I will post some pics of Addi when I get them from Steph.

A Little Spoiled....

So while Bill and Trent were turkey hunting they came up with a bit of a plan.....

They surprised Steph and I with a trip to PARIS!!! Steph has always wanted to go and Trent doesn't want to go so it worked out. I get to go back to Paris!!! We are thinking we will go sometime in early October, sometime after Addi's birthday.

I am super excited. A little worried to be traveling without my travel partner though. When we travel...I simply follow along. Bill gets us where we need to go safely! Hopefully I won't get us too lost in Paris! THANKS BABY FOR A GREAT SURPRISE!!!!

Hello!!!

It has been a little while again...things here are good. We enjoyed a weekend in the pool with my family. It was the last weekend of turkey hunting so Bill and Trent went looking for turkey's and we relaxed by the pool.

Wicked was a great show! We really enjoyed it.

Addi had fun sitting with Daddy on the porch after her bath last night. She waves to her friend Sophie all the time and that is what she is doing in the picture!
