Jenni is officially a Marathoner! Pat, Sue, Addy, and Bill cheered Jenni on as she battled hills, heat, the metric system and a malfunctioning iPod to complete 26.2 miles (which is apparently 42.195 km) from the shores of Marathon, Greece to the Olympic Stadium of Athens. We are incredibly proud of our athelete! Way to go Jenni!Time: 5:21:19

The finish line was AMAZING...to know that you are running into the first olympic stadium was quite a feeling. And no matter where it would have been it was a huge sense of accomplishment. It was a great experience...I still haven't decided if it will happen again...my legs at the moment are still saying NO. But now I am thinking I can beat my time...I have never been competitive in my life...so this is a new feeling. Greece is a beautiful country!
