Trick or Treating!

Addison had a wonderful time tonight with Sophie! They are the cutest little friends ever! They were holding hands, playing follow the leader and having their own little conversations! We went to a few houses in our neighborhood and then went to Casie's parents house. Her Dad is a photographer and takes pictures of all the trick or treaters! It is so awesome! Then he sends out the picture to the kids that are in it! How nice is that! ONLY in the midwest!

Addison and Sophie had the whole trick or treating thing down! They were so cute holding hands and saying 'trick or treat'. They were so good about saying thank you too!

Picking up the trees!

So it was finally a nice day so we went out to rake leaves...but right before we went out Addison said, "we are going to pick up the trees!" I just thought it was funny! She had a fun time outside at least for a little while before we attempted a nap!

Halloween Fun at the Library (briberry)

Today we went to the Library with Sophie! I am not sure if Addison was more excited about the library or seeing Sophie. I am thinking seeing Sophie the bunny as it has now changed to at our house.



This library is great! We listened so a couple of stories, did some halloween crafts, went to City Hall and sang a song to the Mayor and had oodles of treats! Popcorn balls are MESSY!!

Happy Birthday Addi (again)

We had a great weekend celebrating Addison's Birthday in Willmar! It was so great that so many of our friends and family could be there with us! Thank you to everyone that came. It not only meant a lot to Addison but also to Bill and I. Addison had a great time! And loved blowing out the candles again! I think, other than ice cream, that was the birthday highlight!

One Tough Cookie!!

So last thursday ( I know I am a bit behind...the story of my life!!) Addison and I went to have our flu shots. Well come to find out Addi needed a bunch more shots cause she just turned two! She had three shots and the flu mist and didn't make a peep. The most was a funny face! I was one proud mommy! It made it ALOT easier for me too without tears!! We are good til she is 4 HIPPY RAY!!

PARIS!!

Steph and I had a great trip to Paris. The flights were never-ending but it was worth it. Paris is such a wonderful city. We covered a lot in a week! For me the highlights were....seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle, the Orsay (Monet and a Carpeaux statue), Versailles was amazing, and just the city itself. Everywhere you look there is an neat old building or a stunning cathedral. We certainly did eat some good food I can't believe what they can do with flour and water! The bread is amazing!! I really enjoyed GOOD coffee. It was fun to be able to drink the wine this time too!! Last time I was pregnant! I even got Steph to try wine, and mussels too!

I am quite certain that we covered every metro stop in Paris! But we did well. We got around very easily and had no problems. We of course have some stories! Stephanie causes incidents (i can write that cause there is nothing she can do about it!!) We had the unattended baggage freak out a couple times, a broken rail on the train, some security incident at the Louvre, some guy trying to give us a gold ring and various other strange incidents! I of course blamed Steph! Overall it was a wonderful trip and I had a great time with my little sis!

I got to redeem myself with the photos a bit. The last time we were in Paris our digital camera broke and we forgot how to use the film camera. So I hope you enjoy the pictures!
