CHRISTMAS 2013

Christmas Morning!  It was so much fun to have everyone together!  It was so exciting with all the kids!  Addi, Landon and Lucas surely provided much entertainment!  Addison got her itunes gift card and dolls, Landon got his candy spinners...I think everyone was happy!  

Here we go.....

December 24-  Over the river and through the woods.....to Grandmothers house we go! We started our journey at about 6:15 when our neighbor was so sweet to take us to the airport.  We got there, got checked in and just waited.  Our flight was about 45 min delayed but not too big of deal.  It was amazing to travel with no carseats (Nana had them), no strollers, not even any diapers! And each child carried their own backpack....it was AMAZING! The kids were great travelers.  Grandma and Grandpa were there to meet us!  It was really exciting!!  We headed to Willmar!

Christmas in Virginia

December 23- We of course didn't want to travel with all the kids' gifts so we had our Christmas before we left VA.  I have been so crazy excited about the gifts we got the kids!  Addison got a desk, chair, lamp that we redid I have been so anxious to give it to her!  I am surprised I waited.  It has been done for awhile sitting in the basement under blankets!  We gave Landon some great Imaginex toys....they are really fun!  It was a fire station and a pirate ship!  Bill and I had fun putting them together!

 I made Bill a fun Shadow box for his marathon stuff  and some other things on his list! 

 Bill gave me an amazing portrait lens!  I LOVE it and can not wait to use it! 

Oliver

For whatever reason Addison has been very concerned this year that someone is going to touch Oliver, our Elf on the Shelf.  She comes home from school and asks Landon if he touched him.  Well, Bill was threatening that he was going to touch Oliver....this is what happened....then it was a fun game that both Addi and Landon wanted to play!

SANTA

December 21- Today we went to see Santa.  We first went to the mall and found out that there was a two hour wait plus santa was going to take a lunch break so we would have to wait through that as well.  Ahhhh NO!  So we decided to check out the Merrifield Nursery.  It was a REALLY nice day like in the high 60's really strange for Christmas time.  But we waited to see santa and it was really fun. We looked at all the plants and then saw santa.

 It was a really "good" santa.  He took a lot of time with the kids and the picture was $5 and they didn't care at all if you took your own pictures!  Addison asked for an itunes gift card and two dolls and Landon asked for a "spinning thing with candy". Santa tried to help me out by asking questions but luckily I knew what he was talking about! 

 Addison would have sat there all day chatting away! 

Addi's Christmas Party at School

December 20-  Addi had her Christmas party at school and parents and siblings were welcome to come.  So, Landon and I went to check it out!  We had a lot of fun.  Each class had an activity set up and the kids rotated through the classrooms.  Addison was so sweet to Landon.  When we got there she came and got him and wouldn't let him leave her side!  And Landon was a true Addi supporter!  When Addison went to play the sweep the snowball game he was cheering for her louder than anyone else!  It makes me so happy that Addi and Landon love each other so much!

Landon's Christmas Program

December 17-  Landon had a little Christmas program at his preschool.  He did a great job!  Sometimes he can be a little shy...well at least a bit more than Addison.  He sang the songs and did really well.  His favorite part was the arm motion to 'we wish you a Merry Christmas'.  He really had that part down!  There were fun snacks first and then the little program!  It was a nice way to do it so the kiddos weren't so scared! I was too busy recording the program on the ipad to get a picture of Landon singing!
