Backyard Friends!

This morning I woke up, glanced out the windows and saw this huge buck looking back at me.  I of course ran to show Addi and Landon.  They thought it was the coolest thing ever!  We were watching him for awhile before we noticed there was another female deer laying down closer to the fence!  The really didn't seem to care that we saw them and were taking pictures of them!  After awhile the buck decided to lay down...they then left!  Having to jump the fence too!  It was the excitement of the week for Addison and Landon!

Thanksgiving Luncheon at Laurel Ridge

We were able to join Addison on Veterans Day by having lunch with her!  We were able to dine with the Nelson Family!  It was lots of fun!  The students had worked hard to make place mats.  I got to help too with my PTA group!!

 Addison decorated stars for her Dad and Great Grandpa to add to the wall!  It was really neat!

Halloween!

I don't think I have EVER been this far behind on our blog.  Things have just been crazy busy!

So here is the ultra Nesbitt catch up!

Halloween was fun!  Landon had a little party today at school where he got to show off his Max costume!  Trick or Treating.... It was a bit chilly and half way down the court it started to sprinkle but it was lots of fun!  The Elrod Family put together a haunted back yard which was fun for Addi and Landon!  We really do have a wonderful neighborhood!

 I can not think of a more suiting costume for this little guy!!!

So, Bill was really concerned about getting home so we could face time with my Mom, Dad who went to Steph and Trent's to go trick or treating with Lucas.  I didn't think much of it...well when I got home we faced time and Lucas was holding up a sign that said "I am coming to see my auntie tomorrow!"  WHAT?   It was a wonderful surprise!  My Mom, Dad, Steph and Lucas flew in...after a delay they got here at about midnight on friday night!  But they were staying until tuesday!  AND it just so happened that Addi had monday and tuesday off from school for teacher inservice!  PERFECT!  I love spending time with my family!!!  And I hadn't seen Lucas in a long time so it was great!
