April 27th- Well I took to the streets of D.C. this morning with 15,000 women with the same goal.....cross the finish line! I completed the goal and it was pretty enjoyable. It was an amazing morning in D.C.! I couldn't have ordered better weather! It would have helped if I would have taken training a bit more seriously but I crossed the finish line! I also got a cute necklace from Tiffany's!!! I was SUPER thankful that my family was there to cheer me on! My Mom and Dad, Bill and the kiddos found me at mile 7 and again to cross the finish line! It is always so much fun to have fans! So I wasn't fast (i never am!) but the run was good!
They had an expo...and had all the runners names on a wall.....woohoo!

Landon and I at the expo!
Grandma and Landon in Georgetown! It was beautiful!
Race Day! It was an amazing morning to run! Bill knows me well and was able to snap a few pictures while I was running! That is the time to see the monuments!
D.C. is a beautiful historic city...IF you can get past the traffic and stupid people!
My heart belongs in MN!
FINISHED! It was and always is a great feeling to cross the finish line. I had flashbacks of Greece in my head and running into the first Olympic Stadium....that was amazing!
One of my most important reasons for running!!! Wow do I love those two!!
This is the first time my Dad has ever been on a race course! My Mom saw me complete my marathon and also a half in Omaha! Thanks to Bill for truckin all over the city to see me for a second! I adore you and I am very happy you are such a fan!!
The numbers....not exactly what I wanted but when you don't train...that is what you get!
